JCSET: The Department of Geosciences
The Department of Geosciences has approximately 1,200 square feet designated as the Terrain Modeling Laboratory (TML). The TML has available an EmRiver EM3 Stream Table (Little River Research & Design), a Cubify CubeX Duo 3D printer (Cubify), and a NextEngine 3D scanner (NextEngine). Two sandboxes (real sand boxes) are available for creative minds. A audio/visual truss system is available for attaching lightweight devices, such as small data projectors, cameras, and lighting. The TML also has two Ryobi drill presses. The TML is awaiting some electric and network upgrades and hopes to be fully operational Spring 2014.
