Office of Regional Outreach

Since 2007, the office has been pleased to partner with local non-profits, active citizens and regional businesses to support our four main goals:

1. Educational Attainment
2. Job Creation
3. Collaborative Partnerships
4. Quality of life

As an initiative of the state Council on Postsecondary Education, Murray State’s Office of Regional Outreach has a unique opportunity to take a statewide project and mold it to best support the region.  The tough decisions are left to the representatives from the regional advisory council, made up of members from MSU’s 18-county service region. The council selects projects that benefit the region through education and leadership, entrepreneurial efforts, agriculture education and much more.

                Over the years the advisory council has granted hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding, leveraged that funding into larger financial partnerships and seen, firsthand, the effect of outreach in the Purchase and Pennyrile regions.
